The yellow flowering Argyrolobium zanonii is occupying several dozens of square meters on a higher terrace. The lack of competition is probably due to the thin soil layer with the bedrock close to the surface and sticking out in some places. This dwarf shrub doesn`t have any known medical or practical uses and is perhaps therefore little known, but it forms a beautiful carpet that doesn`t need any special maintenance (mowing) to maintain itself.

The white flowers at the back on the right are mostly from Orlaya grandiflora (White Lace Flower). Being an annual, it`s conspicuous spread over the terrain will have something to do with the widespread disturbance of the soil by wild boar in wintertime, helping in this way to enrich the species variety. This area is cut with a scythe every two or three years.

Las flores amarillas de Argyrolobium zanonii ocupan varias decenas de metros cuadrados en una terraza superior. La falta de competidoras se debe probablemente a la capa muy poco profunda de tierra con la roca madre muy cerca de la superficie y asomándose en algunos lugares. Este arbusto enano no tiene uso médico o práctico conocido y es por eso igual poco conocido, pero puede formar una alfombra bonita que no necesita ningún tipo de mantenimiento (siega) para mantenerse.

Las flores blancas al fondo a la derecha son sobre todo las de Orlaya grandiflora. Es anual y su extensión llamativa sobre el terreno tendrá algo que ver con la extensa remoción de la tierra por los jabalíes en invierno, favoreciendo de esta forma la riqueza de especies en la zona. Esta área se corta cada dos o tres años con la guadaña.
